I was picking my son up from school yesterday when I saw a large, white plane in the sky. On closer inspection, the Raymond Loewy livery was unmistakable. I saw it again on the way home, so I figured it was doing stop and gos at AUS. My house lies directly on the landing path for the southbound approach, and I hoped it would come around again. So I waited outside with my long lens. Unfortunately, it flew directly overhead, and not off to the side. But it was neat to see nonetheless.

There’s no such thing as a bad angle on a 757 though!

Agreed. It’s a beauty.

Much love for the C-32 and 757.
Great looking jet.

These guys fly over my house every now and then, along with C-21s and the occasional C-37.
Anything with that livery is always a good sight to see.

You are right about Loewy’s livery. Had one of the VC-25s fly low over my school when I was a kid, and it was a very impressive sight.

In some box somewhere I still have my old CA personalized plate ‘N757A’ with a frame picked up at the Museum of Flight in Seattle that reads “My Other Vehicle is a Boeing 757". Perhaps I should get that plate again...
